Title: Quiet round here ain't it... Post by: John Davidson on December 05, 2005, 09:33:46 AM I'm at home with the flu...bored and not really concentrating so thought I 'd pop by.
My current reading project is Hellblazer (from the start). I'll take some notes as I go an maybe write up a crit later. Title: Re: Quiet round here ain't it... Post by: Matt Kamen on December 05, 2005, 09:37:13 AM Better at home than trapped in day-job hell - I work at an internet cafe and need to update Adobe Reader on all 46 machines. Oh, the monotony!
On the bright side, I did pretty much finish my Christmas shopping during my lunch today.... Title: Re: Quiet round here ain't it... Post by: John Davidson on December 05, 2005, 09:40:42 AM Buy Tivoli..it'll save you walking around all the machines :)

Got a conjuntivitis (i dunno how you say it in your english lingo), couldn't even open my left eye until a couple of hours ago. Also, Tivoli (i think): http://www.answerbag.com/q_view.php/8930 http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=2984 Title: Re: Quiet round here ain't it... Post by: John Davidson on December 05, 2005, 11:01:45 AM My we are a healthy bunch.
Must be down to our adventurous outdoor lifestyles ;) The desktop management guys in my office use Tivoli to distribute software upgrades and manage the software stack centrally. It was mostly a joke suggstion as I suspect it is a rather expensive/heavyweight application. And buying a house...eek. I hate moving house. I haven't moved house since 1989 but it will have to be done soon I suppose. 2xadults + 2xKids + 2x Bedrooms = at least 1 bedroom too few. :( Title: Re: Quiet round here ain't it... Still not the quickest means, but easier than downloading a whole application 46 times.... I've got to move house <again! Eighth time in five years!> at the end of January, when the landlord sells the house I currently rent. Since buying is way out of my price range, I need to find somewhere else to live, pretty soon. Oh, for stability in my life! Title: Re: Quiet round here ain't it... Post by: Bruno on December 05, 2005, 11:44:26 AM I totaly blame my ilnesses on my rugged outdoor lifestyle.
And i should think about getting a place for myself. But i'm ill, so i'll leave it for another day. Title: Re: Quiet round here ain't it... Post by: Sabrina Peyton on December 05, 2005, 11:50:19 AM We're almost there moving wise, just waiting for the solicitor to get stuff.
both of us have moved in the past few years, I however moved countries.... and one day I shall have all of my stuff over here. Title: Re: Quiet round here ain't it...
