Title: New Year's Plans? Post by: Matt Kamen on December 28, 2005, 08:34:16 AM I'm actually hoping for some insipration here, as my girlfriend & I have no firm ideas as of yet. We got sick of suffering over-inebriated jackasses, crap music and being ripped off on drinks prices & cab fares last year. At the moment, our main plan is to hike up to the woods & have a quiet barbeque, with not-so-quiet fireworks at midnight.
So, how're you guys intending to celebrate the New Year? Title: Re: New Year's Plans? Post by: John Davidson on December 28, 2005, 10:01:58 AM Two small kids = no partying at New Year :(
We'll watch crap TV and have a couple of drinks . Title: Re: New Year's Plans? But that's made up for with, umm, the undying love of your children? Title: Re: New Year's Plans? People keep telling me that Exmouth is 'one of the best New Years Eve's in the country" but I dont see how the dullest town on earth can suddenly become the Titty Twister for one night a year! I may venture out to see if its all true.....
Title: Re: New Year's Plans? Post by: Russell H on December 29, 2005, 12:32:31 AM I very rarely do anything on New Year's Eve. Last time was probably about 3-4 years ago, went to see a free gig in town.

Edinburgh is the happening place at New Year (allegedly) so I can at least take vicarious pleasure from that . :) Title: Re: New Year's Plans? There's something like that going on here but Birmingham City Council's ideas for free public entertainment is usually disturbingly chav-tastic. It's looking more & more likely that we'll go with the hike idea. Title: Re: New Year's Plans?
