It's the time of the year where all those classy movies come out that blatantly want to win Oscars.  And, due to their nature, about half are actually pretty good.

Me, I'm looking forward to The Black Daliah, among others.

Er...I was talking about movies like The Fountain and Children of Men.  You know, the really great movies that are released at the end of the year.

Never heard of those.

Which is why I normally don't do award shows like this I haven't a clue what films they're talking about ;)

I see Scorsese getting nominated and winning Best Director for the Departed.
