I am so happy that I spent the 10 dollars for the book last year at Wizard World Chicago and got it across to the home office for a professional thrashing.

I could've gotten a good cigar for that ten dollars.

It is strange, and knowing that I wrote the review. The context pulling is amazing. with that, I realize that I sounded like an ass to boot.

Just a quick note that the Fractal Matter review for John Woo's Seven Brothers from last November got a quote pulled for Virgin comics' add for the new series of Seven Brothers. It's on page 360 of the new catalogue and the pulled quote reads.

"John Woo's contribution to Virgin Comics Director's Cut line, Seven Brothers has the distinction of being the best title Virgin has put out thus far."

Yay for press. Grin

This talk makes me sad because it reminds me of the last Metallica single and the documentary. I wish the song was better than it is, but the documentary is great family viewing. Cheesy

Radiohead can no doubt be uplifting and for myself I find the work saddening yet hopeful, yet as good as uplifting can be, it's not as much fun as a rowdy uptempo Metallica song. The thing is that sometimes you can be in the mood for both, one or the other.

I vote for Metallica over Radiohead. The reason being is that I've seen Metallica live, Radiohead I could not be bothered because life is no that dire.

Also, the some kind of monster documentary is funny.

I own all of the Radiohead and Metallica albums and to be honest they are two different bands. One is about big explosive drunken mayhem. The other is about sadness and isolation.

Today will be the day that I will give out candy as a masked mexican wrestler in business attire. Weep for me.

I see Scorsese getting nominated and winning Best Director for the Departed.

College was the worst four and a half years of my life.

Between that and work I'm surprised I survived it all.

I spent at least three semesters working multiple jobs and school. The only good thing is that I wasn't dating anyone at the time.

Spent most of the weekend watching series 2 of Veronica Mars. It's greatness.

It is a fun film to see drunk or stoned.

Outside of that there is no merit to this "flick".

I got the first issues last month and they area bit odd. Devi read like warmed over Witchblade. Snakewoman was decent and has the most potential for goodness. The third book was pretty, but I do not remember the story.

The one I want to read is Seven Brothers. I'm intrested in what Ennis will do.

The best way for success for them in the Direct Market is get American writer, eastern artist or vice versa. the lack of name recognition will be a uphill battle. Also, have these books surfaced at the local Virgin stores? i haven't been to mine i na while and i'm curious ifthey are available there and their sell though.
