A tough one as both bands have suffered from the fact that new albums have generally been terrible.
I like both, seen Metallica 3 or 4 times and they are good live. Managed to see Radiohead this year and it was great.
Hmm, Ill go with Metallica - Kill 'em All to Black album period |

I appear to be *ahem* watching a lot of American TV series at the moment. British TV is generally awful apart from some good news programmes and documentaries.
I have attempted to watch Torchwood, but it is mind-numbingly awful and I may skip the rest of the series after the horror that was "Cyberwoman". Robin Hood I haven't seen - I am told I am not missing much.
Anyway, what programmes are you lot watching a the moment? My list is:
Lost - or it will be when it's back on in February. Battlestar Galactica - Probably the greatest thing on TV, it's like being put through physical and mental anguish each week. Heroes - Keeps getting better, and Jen is hooked on it now. Jericho - Very Slow, but nice concept that is in dangering of going nowhere and becoming a Mutant Little House on the Prairie. Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip - Really enjoying this, cracking dialogue - just wish they'd drop actually showing the material because it's not funny. Very glad it's now got a full 22 episode run. My name is Earl - Series 2 is up and running, and Burt Reynolds was in the second episode and it was still funny. Jason Lee is great. Even if he is a Scientologist... Family Guy - New episodes are out there, consistently funnier than The Simpsons, but does try a little too hard sometimes. American Dad - see Family Guy.

Hopefully little Hammond will be ok - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/north_yorkshire/5365676.stm
Top Gear's Richard Hammond is seriously ill in hospital after a crash in a jet-powered car while filming for the BBC programme. |
