I just loathe certain characters on Housewives.

Who? Why?

Eva Longoria - vacuous, spiteful - yes I realise her husband's a bastard, but I find it difficult to have any sympathy for her.

The only new thing I'm currently watching is Rome.

Looking forward to Dr Who.
Caught up with Battlestar Galactica on DVd and am looking forward to the next season
As with others I seem to watch QI and also indulge in a bit of Never Mind The Buzzcocks .

Sheona (my lovely MRs) is a fan of House and the bits I caught were pretty good. I do like Hugh Laurie.

Buzzcocks has been clashing with Shakespeare so we've missed most of this series Sad

I've pretty much given up on broadcast TV. I can make do without the endless barrage of adverts, repeats and godforsaken 'reality' TV shows. Anything I do like, I end up buying the DVDs.

I've heard good things about Deadwood but I generally dislike westerns. Anything in it that might appeal to someone who doesn't generally like the subject matter?

The only current TV show I've gotten into of late is, somewhat guiltily, The OC....

Really liked OC series 1, but lost interest through series 2.

Deadwood is not really a western, but a drama set in the Wild West focused on this one town.    It's really interesting.   I've really got into Westerns though over the last few years.
