I don't think about what a creator thinks when I write a review.  It's a review of the content, not of the person, and a review is only ever one person's opinion.

Of course if you write something like "STANLEY KUBRICK IS A MORON!" in one of your reviews, the creator can and should and probably will take it personally.  But that's no way to review, and hopefully one of your editors will catch it and give you a stern talking-to.
