We've done an advance review and we're doing a roundtable next month.

What did YOU think of the first issue?

I liked it.

She really hasn't.

It gets better from here on in.

My favourite issue is #3 and hopefully you'll all get to see why.

It's definitely better than Infinite Crisis #1 - and therefore I'll be back for issue 2.

Attn: Geoff Johns.

This is how you do a 'big event'. That is all.

OK, sorry to get all 'internet fanboy' there but after the huge disappointment of Infinite Crisis, with its unfocused narrative, confusing plot, nonsensical events and overabundance of hype, Civil War #1 was a breath of fresh air. Despite Millar 'sploding the New Warriors, one of my favorite teams, I thoroughly enjoyed this issue. The characters spoke with believably dialogue and both sides made compelling arguments. Definately looking forward to the rest of the series.

Finally read Civil War 1, not bad though no idea who some of the folks are. And a few phrases seemed a bit repetitive. I may keep reading them if I can remember to.

I enjoyed it. I'm not normally a fan of big event cross-overs but I have faith in Millar and McNiven.
Hopefully I won't need to buy a plethora of other books to get the story.

Not that anyone around here has read it, but the mini is readable and understandable on its own.

Yes, even though no one around here has read it, the mini is all you need. I certainly will not be picking up any other tie-in issues.

ALthough I did get Illumaniti *slaps self on wrist*
