You may have heard that there is a new Robin Hood series being done by the BBC . Paul Cornell is recently back from a trip to Hungary for a visit to the set of the series and for Paul’s full review go read his blog. Beware he also talks about cricket.
It’s the time of year when the summer movies all start coming out. In May alone we have Mission Impossible 3, the Da Vinci Code and X-Men 3. Though this year we lack Batman the Superman Returns film will make up for the need for a character in pants and a cape. We’ll be covering not only Superman Returns, but also a guide on where to start on the Superman comics. I have a feeling as I’ve never read Superman I maybe used as the guinea pig on this one.
Johnny Depp returns for Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Mans Chest on July 7th which will be hard to follow up, though in August Kevin Smith will have a go with his Clerks 2. Which hopefully will be better than Jersey Girl.
Our update this month will include coverage of the Comic Expo in Bristol with more Doctor Who goodies as well as our regular coverage of the new series.
