Welcome to 2007. Welcome to an advance review of Thunderbolts #110, the eagerly anticipated start of Warren Ellis and Mike Deodato’s run. Welcome to advance reviews of Transformers Spotlight: Ultra Magnus, Zombies vs. Robots #2, Star Trek: The Next Generation #1, the amazing Worry Doll from Mamtor, Spike: Asylum #5. And welcome to an advance review of the…different..War of the Undead #1.
Yes, we’re starting the New Year off in style, don’t say we don’t treat you well. 2007 is less than a day old and already its clear that the Gregorians could really…do…whatever adjective combines the best elements of being funky and calculating a solar year. Seven years into the 21st century and the first day of the year falls on the first day of the week. There’s a sense there, of cogs turning, keys in locks, stuff working in a precise, orderly fashion.
Much like Fractal Matter in fact as we ask Brandon Jerwa the most important question of all; who would win, Mcleod or Snake Eyes? As if that wasn’t enough we review Rocky Balboa, take a look at the best films and comics of last year AND take a look at what 2007 can offer.
Next month if you didn’t realise it is Fractal Matter’s 1st anniversary. So be prepared for an all out brawl, um, party?
Now, I’m off to watch 24 series 2 (Run, Jack, RUN!) and the Addams Family, because when you’re dealing with so many lovely current and future works, even we’re allowed a little time off to indulge.
Happy New Year
